On Sunday 10/9/16 I went to the Muslim Political Club Forum that was held at the Blue Heron Nature Center on Poillon Avenue on Staten Island. I spoke for 5 minutes and was asked questions for about 15 minutes. I spoke about improving the economy, ending poverty, improving the environment and our infrastructure, and ending wars and ethnic scapegoating. My Democrat Party Candidate opponent Richard Reichard was there and also spoke and answered questions, My incumbent Republican Party opponent Dan Donovan didn’t show up.
On 10/5/16 I went to the Fort Hamilton Senior Center and participated in a forum with my opponent, Democrat Richard Reichard, and gave our views on the economy, the environment, healthcare, US foreign policy, taxes and our infrastructure. Dan Donovan, Republican incumbent, did not show up. We sat at a table in front of the audience. We also answered many questions from the audience.

In order to avoid any appearance of impropriety, and for the sake of transparency, we will be filing with the FEC shortly. We realize now that aside from transparency, by filing with the FEC, the campaign will be taken more seriously, and give debate and forum organizers one less reason to not extend an invitation to participate. Now, send us contributions so there will be something to report. ] Continue reading
