Shore Hill Community Center Candidates Forum

Candidates Forum, May 8th, 2018
Shore Hill Community Center, 9000 Shore Rd., Brooklyn
Hi Everybody,
On Tuesday, May 8th I spoke at an Educational Forum: Meet the Candidates for the 11th Congressional District. Besides me, there were  6 Democrats  and 1 Republican.
I told the group that I was also a senior and a member of AARP.  I told the group that we had a bad economy in the USA  that was causing unemployment, not enough repairs to our infrastructure, and poverty.
I told the audience that the cause of this bad economy was a maldistribution of wealth, and what we should do is tax the wealthy 1% 70 to 92% like we did from 1942 to 1980. THAT’S WHEN  AMERICA WAS GREAT.

On 10/22/16, Saturday, I attended the Staten Island Peace Action  Make Food Not War Dinner at the Olivet Presbyterian Fellowship Hall on Staten Island. It was also an awards ceremony and three awards were given to 4 Staten Islanders who are promoting peace in the world.
At the dinner, I talked to the diners and gave out my campaign fliers. I talked about my campaign and how we should use diplomacy with countries around the world instead of militarism to have a peaceful world.

Hi Everybody,
On Wednesday, September 28th, I submitted my responses to the League of Woman Voters New York State voter’s guide. Please take the time to read my responses to learn more about my campaign and what I will do in Congress, if elected, to improve the economy, the environment, our roads and highways and our mass transit system. We need to get serious about these things before it’s too late. Also check  out what my congressional opponents want to do and compare them.

Hi Everybody,
On Monday 9/26/16, before the Democrat and Republican presidential candidates were to have their exclusive debate, I was at the South Ferry Staten Island Terminal in front of the building handing out my new campaign leaflets. I handed out about 50 or 60 leaflets. Some people recognized me from my previous campaigns and greeted me cordially.

Campaign Notes – Labor Day barbecue

Hi Everybody,
On Labor Day 9/5/16 I was invited to a barbecue held every year by politically progressive Staten Islanders. It was held in Willowbrook Park on Staten Island. There were about 75 people there. I spoke to many of them about my campaign and explained my positions. I also gave out literature and the Green Party Ten Key Values.
