olivet-church pasi-dinner
Hi Everybody,
On 10/22/16, Saturday, I attended the Staten Island Peace Action  Make Food Not War Dinner at the Olivet Presbyterian Fellowship Hall on Staten Island. It was also an awards ceremony and three awards were given to 4 Staten Islanders who are promoting peace in the world.
At the dinner, I talked to the diners and gave out my campaign fliers. I talked about my campaign and how we should use diplomacy with countries around the world instead of militarism to have a peaceful world.

Hi Everybody,
On Wednesday, September 28th, I submitted my responses to the League of Woman Voters New York State voter’s guide. Please take the time to read my responses to learn more about my campaign and what I will do in Congress, if elected, to improve the economy, the environment, our roads and highways and our mass transit system. We need to get serious about these things before it’s too late. Also check  out what my congressional opponents want to do and compare them.

staten-island-ferry-terminal
Hi Everybody,
On Monday 9/26/16, before the Democrat and Republican presidential candidates were to have their exclusive debate, I was at the South Ferry Staten Island Terminal in front of the building handing out my new campaign leaflets. I handed out about 50 or 60 leaflets. Some people recognized me from my previous campaigns and greeted me cordially.

Campaign Notes – Candidates Forum at Da Noi

NYSNAOn Thursday 9/1/16, I gave a talk at the New York State Nurses Association Staten Island Candidates Forum. It was held at the Da Noi  Restaurant on Staten Island. I talked for about 4 or 5 minutes about what I stand for like Universal Healthcare, jobs programs like the WPA, rebuilding our infrastructure, protecting our environment and paying off student loans. I pointed out that we can pay for all this by taxing the 1%, the wealthy, the way we did in the 1940’s,1950’s and 1960’s, at 90%.I then answered questions for a few minutes.

Campaign Notes – Interview with Peace Action Staten Island

Peace ActionHi Everybody,
On Wednesday 8/17/16 I met with 3 members of Staten Island Peace Action at Mike’s Place, on New Dorp Lane at 7PM . They asked me questions about my views on what I would do to maintain peace in the world, about using drones, about immigration, about our military bases, about our Federal military budget, about our crumbling infrastructure and a lot more.
I gave my answers which they are preparing to use, to inform members of my views, in  a Staten Island Peace Action voters guide.
